Within our Benefice, both Bredgar and Milstead are on the route of the Augustine Camino, a walking pilgrimage that links Rochester and Canterbury Cathedrals with the shrine of St. Augustine in Ramsgate.
The pilgrimage takes a week, covering and average of ten miles a day, with overnight stays at Aylesford Priory, Thurnham (pub or camping), Doddington (hostel or camping), Faversham (range of accommodation available), Canterbury (range of accommodation available) and Stodmarsh (accommodation here or nearby at grove Ferry).
