How Can I Help?

It is a joy and a privilege to be able to worship in a church which has been used by Christians for hundreds of years. We are particularly blessed in our Benefice with such a variety of church buildings, congregations and worship styles.

Unfortunately, buildings of a certain age do need specialist care and maintenance and money is always required to preserve our churches (as well as paying our diocesan quota, of course!).

The best way of helping to maintain the church and the Church would be to become a regular worshipper and give generously of the gifts that you have received, but there are other ways in which you can help;

Various parish events committees organise social and fund-raising events throughout the year – open gardens, concerts, Christmas Fayres, and so on.  Further details can be found elsewhere in this website and in the Parish Magazines.

There are also ‘Friends’ groups associated with most of our churches.
